| The Rosewood Equestrian Group Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday night, January 19th, in the RSL Hall in Rosewood. The AGM was chaired by Cr David Pahlke who declared all positions vacant and then oversaw the appointment of the new Committee for 2016.
REG are delighted to have the support of the Ipswich CC Mayor Paul Pisasale, Cr David Pahlke, State Member Jim Madden and Kathy Bensted from Regional Development Australia QLD. We appreciate their commitment and effort to make time to attend the meeting to ensure they are up to date with the progress of the Rosewood Equestrian Group. We are proud to have the following dedicated people appointed to our 2016 Committee Executive Committee: Sub-Committee: There was a fantastic turnout with members from many of the equestrian clubs in the West Moreton region attending the meeting and almost filling the hall. There was lively discussion when the meeting was opened for questions from the audience which clearly demonstrated how many are keen to have input and provide support to make this a successful community project that is accessible to all members of the horse community in the South East Queensland area. Thank you to all who contributed to this discussion, with some great ideas presented, and the many questions which allowed our President Maxine to answer some concerns and provide a comprehensive overview of the project to date, and the forward vision for our world class equine facility that’s planned for Rosewood.
